About the Founder

Thomas Murcko is founder and CEO of WebFinance Inc. He started the company when he saw that the internet would revolutionize finance. Since its inception, his unwavering vision has been to contribute to that revolution by enabling individual investors to benefit from the convergence of technology and finance. Everything WebFinance Inc. does is in pursuit of this vision. Tom is recognized as a thought leader in online finance and is frequently quoted in industry publications.

Prior to founding WebFinance Inc., Tom was a Manager at Microstrategy, a successful software development firm. Tom ran the company’s product testing, technical support and documentation departments as the company experienced several years of 100% revenue growth. Tom graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1992 from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Engineering Sciences.
